Getting black spots is one of the most common facial care
concerns found on the women's forum. This usually occurs in the middle ages. It
may be caused by post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Black spots may result
from skin infections such as acne, melasma and Riehl's melanosis. Dark spots
may appear after it undergoes these types of skin diseases.
A women's forum suggested different tips to cure the
irritating black spots. The treatments may contain ingredients which can be
commonly found in our household. Some leaves used in the treatments may also be
found on the garden. These treatments may be applied repeatedly onto the
affected skin to see its gradual results. Whitening may take weeks or sometimes
months to effectively remove the black spots.
One contributor of a women's forum suggested mixing mehndi
with oil to make a paste-like mixture. Mehndi is used as temporary skin
coloration popularly known as Henna. This compound is mainly used as skin
decoration for temporary tattoos. The paste is applied evenly all over the
face. Glycerin mixed with a half teaspoon of lemon juice may also be applied on
the affected area.
Another member of the women's forum also recommends applying
turmeric paste with curry leaves on the face. The mixture is left for a quarter
of an hour before washing. Turmeric paste may also be blended with mehndi and
applied using the same procedure. Turmeric paste with two to three leaves of
mehndi is enough to be used on the dark spots.
Dried basil leaves, mint and neem may also be used. The
solution requires 100 grams of each leaf. A paste can be made by adding
turmeric powder and rosewater to the combined mixture. Coconut oil mixed with
ground betel leaf can also be a substitute for this concoction.
The women's forum also advises using milk. A chapatti is
soaked overnight in milk and is applied on the surface of the black spot.
Repeating the procedure for several days may
remove the dark pigmentation of
the affected skin area. Honey mixed with saffron can be used on the blemishes
to completely remove the dark spots.
Black spots that are located on the wrinkles of the face may
be removed by applying a compound of sandalwood powder, glycerin and rosewood.
The mixture should be washed with cold water after a couple of minutes.
Steaming the face is also one of the
recommended alternatives on the women's forum for removing the black spots. Asking
professional help by visiting a nearby parlor and undergo a cleansing session.
A continuous session every 15 days may slowly exfoliate the skin. Exfoliation
of the skin greatly reduces the dark spots. During the session, professionals
may manually remove the black pores. Steaming allows the pores to widen making
it easier to remove blemishes and dirt on the skin.
Black spots are frustrating but there are steps to be spots
free. Just follow the mentioned methods and the black spots will be gone in no
time. Women's forum is a great resource for removing black spots.
